A postscript (PS or P.S.) is
about writing anything after the main body of a letter. The term comes from the
Latin post scriptum, an expression meaning "written after."
A
postscript may be a sentence, a paragraph, or occasionally many paragraphs
added to, often hastily and incidentally, after the signature of a letter or
(sometimes) the main body of an essay or book. The word "postscript"
has, poetically, been used to refer to any sort of addendum to some main work,
even if it is not attached to a main work.

P.S means {By The Way}, {Just to Let You Know}, or {Don't Forget} P.S is
like leaving a simple note behind.
P.S. also means {oh I forgot to tell you}
In
your sentence, of course it's hard to forget to say "I love you", so
it's just used to emphasize the fact you love that person, used in both letters
and emails. It's often used in love letters actually.
What is R.S.V.P.
The term R.S.V.P. comes from the French expression "répondez s'il vous plaît", meaning "please respond". If R.S.V.P. is written on an invitation it means the invited guest must tell the host whether or not they plan to attend the party. It does not mean to respond only if you're coming, and it does not mean respond only if you're not coming.
